1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Sedan

Though we didn’t receive this 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Sedan from the rusty beginning of the restoration, this collector’s gem took on a whole new dimension of high caliber car painting results since we finished with it at Johnny’s Custom Auto Body. The car had already been painted elsewhere a couple years ago. But the owner was never happy with the poor quality of the paint job…and he had good reason. Not only was the car painted a medium metallic blue, though he asked for midnight blue… the quality was well…”terrible”. So, we agreed on terms of the project. Our customer was really gung-ho on getting it done right away, so we jumped in and 3 weeks later…a few days before Christmas…he had this finished product to put under his tree.
